good pose idea for fighting vamp

Okay well digging threw the rackum range I found these model 9see pic below and i think that the pose can be copied for a scratch built vamp.

I like the pose/look of the weapons almost as an extension of the warrior, but I am not too keen on the overall effect of this particular mini.

Because the vamp will probably be a bit smaller cast than that model I would straighten out the right leg. If you don't, he probably will look like he's trying to take a dump. Good idea though, how the weapons flow with the arms.
