This is my avatar which I recently went back to and edited with Paint.NET, it's been on DeviantArt for quiet some time but I think it looks much more naturalistic now, then it did previously. Whilst maintaining the picture as still dark and brooding, with out being overly monotone anyway what do you think of it:

Yes your version deffinitly looks much better. I think the yellowish brown/green (or whatever) colour makes him look more sinister in a way. In the other picture it looks as if it's in the middle of a cloudy day.

Thank you The Dark Sheep , I changed the colouring as it was far too monotone.
Do you think you can guess what historical figure the individual is?

I've always found him quite fascinating as he's regarded as a genocidal madman by the world and a freedom fighter and saint in Romania.

Indeed, and without prominent figures such as himself the face of modern day Europe could be quiet, quiet different. Who knows how far the Ottoman Turks could've advanced through Eastern Europe?, and would Hungary fall more easily?
