Had a quick read through your review mate, some nice details there.

Personally though I feel the new codex is terrible.
It lacks artwork for the most past as nearly all of it has been replaced by just model images so it really takes away from the setting.
Every model now only has one entry, not 2 so you no longer have the quick reference section in the back when doing army lists.

Also for the most part the rules just direct you to other pages to check allot more than prior books so for the most part until you memorize the rules and points everything is going to take you allot longer to do coupled with allot more time page flipping through a sub par codex.

The HQ moved to LOW however... That is a poor call.
he has not been powered up to warrant the change of entry so it now means you may have to chose between your favorite character or a knight/ other super heavy which is now needed to deal with the mini Apocalypse games that 40k has been turned into.

Thanks for reading the review and giving feedback.

There is definitely less artwork. I realised the artwork from the bestiary was gone but now you mention it the usual double page spreads between sections tended to be army shots rather than art.

I didn't notice the spreading out of the rules so much, as I'm not an Ork player I wasn't thinking about them in great detail.

Perhaps Ghazkhul will be a HQ in the pending Ghazkhul supplement? Again I don't really know how good he is not being an Ork player.
