Ranking System

This seems to have changed since the software change. Is there any chance of a thread being posted somewhere which shows the ranks and their post counts? I thought that there was one explaining this, but I can't seem to find it. If it does exist, if someone can provide a link, I'd be grateful.

One doesn't currently exist, however I will be implementing a FAQ section shortly, which will include this. If you have any more ideas of what could go in there, that would be great

I'd say that a lot of information is available in the rules sticky, so I can't think of too much off the top of my head to be added to an FAQ. The ranking system and information on how zombies are acquired and what they can be used for strike me as the two most obvious candidates for the FAQ. Perhaps also an explanation of how certain forum functions work would be useful?

Yep, all sounds good. I'm currently testing the FAQ section on our testsite, so hopefully won't be too long before I can implement to live, although the content may need to be added over time.

Explaining how the memberlist works might be an idea for the FAQ. I can't figure out how to order registered members by anything other than the default (alphabetically). There must be a way to order them by post count or membergroup, for example, but I can't see it.

Interestingly, the ranks have definitely changed. Before it went Zombie, Skeleton, Ghoul, Grave Guard, Black Knight, Banshee, Wraith, [something I can't remember], Vampire Thrall, Vampire Count, Vampire Lord. It now appears that Banshee and Wraith have been replaced by Vargheist and Vargulf, while Necromancer has replaced Vampire Thrall. Post count parameters have changed too. I was a Banshee under the old system, and I've reverted back to being a Black Knight. Clearly my masters were displeased with my lack of gaming .

We did implement a new list, the old one only went upto 1000, as many members are getting a lot more than that the list now goes upto 10,000 which most people won't exceed.
