Has anyone modeled up the Tomb King infantry skeletons? How do they compare with the VCs skeletons for size? I've come across some TK skeletons I can pick up for cheap to try and increase my units, but I'm wondering how the figs will look side by side.

They're exactly the same as the OLD VC skellies, which means that if your skeletons are new (7th ed, they came in boxes of 10), the TK ones will be bigger.

You could actually use a mixture of TK and VC skellies for a more realistic look. As in a mixture of complete skeletons, not body parts. People are all different sizes, so their skeletons should be.

This is what I was thinking. Just didn't know if they were drastically different. I guess even if they were though, it could add some realism.

I think the main difference is the water-sized heads of the TK Skeletons. If they are really the old VC (ahem, 6th edition) Skeletons, then they have gigantic heads for their body. I have the VC ones in front of me, and boy those Skeletons must have been nerds in life!

But other than that, pretty nice ones. I haven't touched the new Skeletons yet but them seem so small...

You should get them MV - they are some of the best skellies since the old 4th edition metal ones ( I liked their personality back then). Plus you get plenty of spare heads so maybe they would go on the old TK bodies.

Yes, but they are really tiny. I've had so many problems with them breaking when I drop them even a short distance, and I've heard from many people that they are the most fragile unit that many gamers have seen in a while. They are, however, supremely detailed models and looks excellent. I don't know hew their heads would look on the older ones, limbs are alright at a glance, but the size difference for the heads would be so small...
