varghulf conversion

I have recently got a Tomb King Scorpion for free, and now I would like to convert it into a varghulf.
Any ideas?
if it's just a stupid idea, you can say it also, i would just like to know what you guys think

Well anything is doable. What is your theme for your army? If you have a story line that you could add some kind of spiders/monster, then your good. I don't have any qualms but I know that in some tournaments What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) is the norm. That might be your only problem.

Well Tomb Scorpions do have a very un-varghulf look to them, so I don't think you should try and convert it (you might get a hard time doing that). However if it fits your army theme, you could use it as it is...

Agree with Dark Sheep and Dictator. As long as it fits your theme, a scorpion will make a fine 'gulf by itself. Just remove any Khemri-esque parts such as runes and maybe patch over the mummy in the middle to make it look more like a un-living monster instead of a construct. For WYSIWYG, you actually are pretty safe since you don't have to show any specific equipment like great weapons or shields. The beast has 5 attacks, moves fast, and regenerates. All that can easily be shown by what is there.

I agree but I have never seen the model un built but I would also try because its not like to spent anything on it =P

@josef: Exactly. Cheapest in this line of gameing is the best dang way to go IMO. Let us know what you decide.

I think i will make some kind of insect of it, with horns of green stuff and painting him with a green tone.
I am going to buy another scorpion then and doing it in some kind of the same way.
