So I've got a ton of units bought and awaiting to be put together and painted (or re-painted as soon as I get the paint cleaned off). So I'll post my progress on painting my models in here :)
Hope you'll enjoy. Feel free to comment/give tips as you like!

My unit of 10 Hexwraiths. Though 1 is still awaiting re-painting for I wanted to see if it would look better if I did paint the metal parts but decided not to in the end.

I was about to go with weapons painted too but IDK they look more ghostly without :) some people pull off the weapon colors so nicely though.

Nice job on those Hexwraiths, the ghostly wraiths always look cooler than the solid skeleton ones, I reckon. Looking forward to seeing your wolves when they're done. I've just picked up a few boxes of Fenrisian wolves to stand in as my dire wolves as I prefer big vicious beasts to the zombie style wolves in our army.

Thank you :)
I'm looking forward to painting them aswell.
Currently still on the assembly. Got about 20 of them to do.

Oooooh, I might have to try your ethereal method for my own guys. I'm struggling a bit making them look sufficiently light and wispy but yours look absolutely great! And such a simple technique as well! :D

So I have been working on more wolve models and to mix things up a little I got started on my zombie dragon aswell.
In the meantime, however, I wanted to share with you all my girlfriends very first painted model!

Yeah man, don't leave all your basing until the end... Makes for a very boring painting session. And you'll want to do some sort of hardcoat or varnish on your figs if you haven't already to protect the paint.

Nice worn all around. It's awesome that you've got your girlfriend involved too.

@benvoliothefirst that is a great tip. I love it that she wants to get involved in the hobby :)
And I will, the wraiths and spirit hosts should get a base done by the end of the week!
It just took me a very long time to figure out what base I'd want to give to my models. I'm going with (broken) tiles on the bases with moss and such. I've been thinking of cutting them out of paper and paste them to the bases. Though If you guys have better suggestions, let me know it will be greatly appreciated !

Also, to mix things up from painting wolves I assembled my mounted vampire lord. Better to have him assembled than laying in the box, I figured, so he's at least playable. Here's a picture of the guy.

@Hellion Nox That vampire lord is one mean looking guy! Nice work.
Yep, that vampire is badass on wheels. Well, on horse, I guess.

I haven't used the GW purity seal, I heard too many negative reviews. I'm not sure what manufacturers people have found most reliable, but I've used Testors with success in the past. You've gotta watch the humidity level though when you spray. Otherwise they get "ghosted" with a chalky white layer.
