Hi my Undead friends! I´ve recently finished my first 20 skeleton warriors. They have been painted in a really quick way, but I like the result, and thinking that I need at least 50...I think for me it´s enough this level. Hope you like them!

Bases, bone, weapons and Wood look great! But I think the blue colors are too bright especially I think IT could use some shading or be painted in a darker shade and some highlights. I am not trying to be negative I just see so much potential in these and a small part buggs me a little.

Thank you all for the responses!
@Sharkbelly yeah, I´ll be glad to show you my terrain. I´m just not sure where I should upload some pics of that. Would this same painting forum be the correct place?

@Hardt von Carstein thanks for your comment! Maybe you are right, and the blue is a bit bright for undead miniatures. For the moment, I´ll keep this scheme with the rest of the unit, but If I see the blue is too bright in general, then I think I will follow your advice. Thank you so much for telling me your opinion on these skeletons.

@Shadespyre Thank you for your kind words man. Glad to know you like it.

I like their colors, those skeletons look very nice. Blue and red is a popular heraldic combination, especially with white - like their bones. Before being raised, they could have been soldiers. Their robes could use some edge highlights to make them pop a little though. I also like their basing - the dryness of the ground looks great and fits them well - and the contrast between light ground and dark base sides is awesome - such a little thing! :)

That dark metal on their swords also looks terrific - how are you doing it?

Thank you! The dark metal on their swords, shields and the armour of some of them, is painted with Boltgun metal ( This color, but the new Citadel paint, I can´t remember its name right now). Then I applied Reikland Fleshade, and then Druchii Violet. That´s all. I like the druchii violet ink, because it has a bit or red, and I think it really fits the Oxide effect I want to create there.
