AoS - 3rd Season of War

Looks like I need to pick up Season of War: Thondia. I'm not especially inclined toward it, Ghur isn't my favorite place, but the Narrative and Match Play rules and battle packs are pretty compelling. I'm even tempted to pick up the terrain box, but I think I'll stick to my plan of purchasing a bespoke playmat and building some sweet basalt pyramids. I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who like monsters, beasts and other uncivilized things that will already have Thondia in hand, but what I'm waiting for, and probably you too, is Season of War: [Shyish Realm]. There are so many wonderful places I'd love to have more fully explored in our home turf, which would you like to visit first?

Good question! To be honest I think that the realm of Death is one of the more explored realms (although one can never get enough new lore). I feel that the realm of shadow would be a cool place to explore.

I think they are waiting for the Malerion release for that, but I agree with you, it's the great frontier.

I was also very much drawn to Hysh by the lore in the FEC battletome about the Blisterskin - it is an original settings for the undead: not much can live in the sunblasted desert of Hysh.

Yeah - now I want to make a desert/egyptian-themed Soublight army . Maybe I'll do that with FEC when they get a new book and toys.
