IDK man...
30 reapers without a chainghast to buff their to hit, seems a dangerous game.
Yeah, all out attacks exist, but in that case you rely on your single wizard to cast that Seal, otherwise you cannot buff their ward.

IMO you are going to struggle with the synergies.

I'm not a huge fan of Chainghasts to be honest. I think the new Nighthaunt army will rely far less on synergy than the previous one. There are so much inherent debuffing and buffing in the units that I cannot really justify spending 95 pts for the chainghasts when their only job is to buff. I might be wrong obviously, but so far my Grimghast Reapers have been ripping through shit with little to no help.

I'm considering giving Arcane Tome to the Spirit Torment instead of Slitter on the General. But man that Slitter is juicy.

EDIT: One way to get the Chainghasts in the list would be to cut the Spirit Hosts. That might be worth it honestly. An alternate list could look like:

Army Faction: Nighthaunt
Subfaction: The Emerald Host
Grand Strategy: Hold the Line
Triumph: Bloodthirsty

LEADERS
Knight of Shrouds on Ethereal Steed* - General - Command Trait: Hatred of the Living
Cairn Wraith
Guardian of Souls - Spells: Seal of Shyish
Dreadblade Harrow* - Artefacts of Power: Lightshard of the Harvest Moon
Spirit Torment (115)* - Artefacts of Power: Arcane Tome - Spell: Spectral Tether

BATTLELINE
20 Chainrasps**
20 Grimghast Reapers**
10 Grimghast Reapers**
5 Hexwraiths

OTHER
2 Chainghasts

BEHEMOTH
Black Coach - Reaper Scythe

CORE BATTALIONS - *Command Entourage - **Hunters of the Heartlands
TOTAL POINTS: 1970/2000

I plan to get rid of the chainghast by "upgrading" the grimghast reapers to bladegheist (so they will already start from a 3+ to hit), and stick to chainrasp, hexwraith and hosts as battleline.
But i must test the idea.

Let me know how it goes - I'm really down on the Bladegheists because they only have 1" range, so IMO Reapers are better, but I haven't played with Bladegheists yet so I don't know for sure.

Yes, imo bladegheist are going to work in units of 10. Of course, this will limit the number of attacks and will make the unit more vulnerable.
At least they are not limited to targets with 5+ models to get the additional attack.
