KFA is strength 4. So 6 to hit 5 to wound. If you have ZD and Glitering scales. He only has 4 attacks. If he does get a wound through your 4+ ward. I think ghal maraz has d3 wounds... Not sure though.

You have no armor save vs KFA. So why not bring a vampire lord on zombie dragon(bring meat shields also) give VL glittering scales. That way KFA is hitting on 6s which almost makes ghal maraz worthless. Have TOP for insurance.

Another quick conversion tip. This time in hex wraiths.. If your cheap like me. You can put hex wraiths on regular tomb kings skeleton steeds. Thus getting 10 models out of the black knight hex wraith kit. Just a thought.

Here is my vampire lord on hellsteed. I made this about a year ago. Finally getting around to painting it. Hellsteeds are getting more popular. Especially with undead legion rules for no mass crumble when general dies.

That's why I bring 3 units of 5. Enemy wizards can only target so many times. Wood elves would do well against this build. But then a lord with good armour high toughness, isn't in too much danger.

I've written on other threads on how i personally use a hellsteed lord. One thing I'll point out is. I've found success attacking weak medium units, with hex and vargiest and lord. I out maneuver major threats. Deathstars , or elite tough units. At least till the end of the game. Choose...
