I would never ever build them with the great weapons from the box. I just can't stand the looks of them. I didn't put the effort in to convert them so I built mine without the shoulder pads and with shields from the regular skeleton box as I like the look of those better than the oversized GG ones.

As he can raise skeletons beyond their starting size I'd go for a couple of units with skeletons, grave guards and the rare choice of your liking. I've always loved the blood knights. (Currently sitting and doing the assembly of 10 knights in metal)

Hey! I was thinking the other day about putting the accursed armor on a wight king with bsb. Given that I don't have need or points for a magic banner on him the accursed armor would give him a good solid T of 6 at the cost of his combat skills. Have anyone tried this out?

Alright, in what way does the round of combat affect the outcome of effectiveness? For the record I do put barrows on my graveguards, the royal banner of strigoi goes on to my blood knights.

Is barrows really better than hatred banner? I did the math quickly over in my head and I think you would score more hits with hatred than with the barrows banner. If I'm correct I would keep the hatred banner since it is cheaper. The situation barrows would be better if you plan to cast...

I just took the coolest parts of the graveguard kit, bashed it with the empire general kit for the banner. Put a sword in one hand, and the shield on the banner hand aswell. And gave him a cape from the general kit. Looks really nice and goes well along with the grave guards he's walking with.

I do every skeltons at once, all ghoul at once so you have the same model to work on at one time. I go legs onto base -> trimming the torso while the glue sets, torso onto the legs etc etc then every skeleton will be done at the same time and I'll move on to next type of unit. I always do the...
