Alright Nagash is finally finished!
This model was a huge project and took me really a long time to complete. I almost gave up several times. The previous owner had given him a way too thick undercoat and ruined some armor areas with even thicker layers of gold but I worked with what I had and...
Welcome!
These skellies look really great, very crisp and clean color scheme you have got going on right there. I like the layering you have done. you really got a knack for knowing just what color to use for each highlight.
Great looking zombie horde! I like how you implemented so many different types of models and made them feel like a united shambling hungry dead mass at the same time, very inspiring work indeed.
They look seriously great, really with that undead feel to them! I would very much like to know how the metal was painted, especially the one closest to the camera in the last photo.
Edit: OH haha I didn't notice the tutorial above.
Edit again: no wait I actually do want some tips on how to do...
I think it looks good overall, a very cold ghostly feel! Quite a bit of depth in the shading too and you have painted them very neatly!
The bone is so neatly painted in fact I know you could take your painting to yet another level with just a little more edge highlighting. I think the candles...
Hello again!
I just won yet another auction and this time it was like 100 unopened paints and some brushes!
I now have a lot more to work with. I used to paint everything using an old worn out starter brush and a large drybrush. With just 30 colors.
Now I have so much more. I have...
Hi again!
I just finished the first miniature of the great haul. Arkhan the Black!
Here are some pictures of him. Sadly the reins had snapped when he was shipped and he had a far to heavy spray undercoat. But I made due with what I had!
Also I think I have decided to keep the current...
Army is looking really promising, nice painting skills, they have really that grave feeling to them!
I might have added some more texture to the bases to make them look less even, they look a little like a gravel soccer field atm (not trying to offend just hard to describe what I think in...
Well thank you guys!
I have no idea why it is rotated wrongly on the picture on the website I uploaded it looks normal...
Anyways I have a big announcement I just won a HUGE unpainted army auction. Like I have models for years now. And they are all undead!!!1
I'll list it all below!
1x...
Wow this one is seriously looking great! Very nice job on everything. I especially like the cloak and glow effects.
Not to be that guy but some brown is missing from a corner of the base in the pic, you might want to fix that so it is all perfect.
Wow such cool wedding-minis, I congratulate you both! I sometimes feel that green is not as royal or powerful a theme as red and black but I think you made a very unique feel to your army which is better than almost all other vampire counts armies that I have seen!
Bases, bone, weapons and Wood look great! But I think the blue colors are too bright especially I think IT could use some shading or be painted in a darker shade and some highlights. I am not trying to be negative I just see so much potential in these and a small part buggs me a little.
