Same armour on them? Are they 4+ and the others only heavy amour? Or the others have a 2+? Because str 6 seems to be where it is at. Especially for cracking armour.

Worse case there are no heroes in the unit here should be able to grind regular infantry down. Elves, rats, lizards, other undead, ect. Just try not to put him up against a lord designed to kill characters I guess. But aren't you trying to avoid those fights anyway?
