Well, to be frank: when I started to buy Warhammer stuff, the Vampire Counts 1st edition just came out and our local shop (closed now) had some very good beginner bonuses; also since I'm a big fan of horror movies - including vampire movies - the choice came natural and I haven't regretted it...

It seems that me & jexx have quite similar tastes in models (with a few exceptions) ;) Here's my list: - Mordheim Vampire (with sword), - Old Vampire with sword and raised cloak (can be seen on the first card on the OOP undead battlecard set) - Old Necromancer with sword & skull staff...

It also makes me very sad how GW induces artificial amnesia in their new vampire fluff and hence destroys the collective vision of the hobby... at least to some of us anyway. For instance: in the last version of the VC book, the blood kiss was described as it is - passing the vampire's own...

Well... read my nick ;) Sadly, bloodlines are almost gone now, from the game as well as from the new fluff, so thanks for that, GW:devil:
