I finally got my grubby little paws on the 8th edition rulebook, and after reading through it for a couple nights (and watching a few games) I thought I’d put in my measly two cents. You might be wondering why my opinion matters – well, it doesn’t, really. But I thought it might be interesting...

Nice models, very flavorful. I wish GW would do more of these type of minis - ones that might not have a lot of in-game use, but add some fluff to the world.

Yeah, I guess if the swordmasters can make it, they'd uberpwn just about anything the rats could throw at them. But still, only ten of them - thin them out some with ranged/magic, and the elves have problems. Anyway, I'll probably pick it up. I picked up Skull Pass, even though I didn't play...

Aye, that's the list that I've been seeing tossed around too. It's pretty impressive, at least on par with Skull Pass (if the models match up, of course). But is it me, or does it seem like it's a little tilted in favor of the rats?

I'm curious as well. I wonder if truly massive zombie units - I mean, 50-100 strong - might be worth something. Obviously, they wont kill anything (Barring quite a bit of luck), but even a Deathstar unit would take 2-4 turns to finish them off, and that's assuming you don't bolster the unit up...

A nice breakdown - I hadn't seen the new Beastmen book. But I'm pretty sure you're violating a lot of copyright laws - pretty much every one, actually. Not sure about forum rules - new here - but you might want to edit your post.
