lol hey guyz I just saw twilight and it was so cool i decided to make an army based off all the cool vampirez in it lolz i want to use the rules for vlad as edward and have bella as a hero lol it'll be aw3some.

After a long hiatus, I've decided to think about coming back to WHFB, after a few years of 40k.

I started WHFB when I was 14 or so, during 5th edition, with Bretonnians, in a game club at my middle school. I was pretty good, but as I got deeper into high school, eventually stopped playing (girls, I found, were far more interesting). In college, I picked up 40k to a limited extent, mostly for the hobby rather then gaming.

But now - I just turned 24 - I'm thinking about starting up a new WHFB army, especially since the new edition will be out soon, and I'll be able to start 'from scratch', as it were.

Vampire Counts are my #1 choice for army, though I'm still considering several others - Dark Elves, Dwarves, Empire, Beastmen, and Warriors of Chaos are also in contention. Basically I'm looking for something very different from my old (poorly painted) Bretonnians - namely, lots of infantry and powerful magic (And shooting, though that's mainly if I go with one of the other armies).

Anywho, I welcome you to Carpe Noctem Wolf, and I'm sure that you'll find yourself right at home here. I definately think you should stick with your choice of going with the Vampire Counts, even with the new edition that will supposedly 'nerf' us being right around the corner. They're a very characterful and unique army as I'm sure you already know. Our shooting might not be very impressive, true, but none can soak up damage from shooting like us.

If you have any questions to ask, please don't hesitate from doing so.

Thanks! Much appreciated. I was going to do a whole paragraph for the twilight gag but got too lazy - and quite frankly, nauseous.

I really like the idea of two or three massive Zombie units - like, 50+ model units - marching down the board, with a couple vampire casters using IoN. I know that it would be A) Pointless, because they couldn't kill anything; B) Impractical, because that's a crud-ton of models to move at once, and C) Expensive / Brutally painful to paint.

But god, it'd be hilarious.
