well, the minus armorsave is for single units. However 24" on a 7+ 48" on a 10+ so basicly you throw 2 dice a spell with possibly 2 magicphases before you hit combat. if units have a better armorsave then 5+ youd be better of rolling for the signiature spell i guess. or trying to get the...

The question as stated above. If i would have light armor and a scaly skin save, do they stack? looking at the scaly skin spell in lore of metal, it could open some really tough units for us! skeletons with Light armor and shield + a 5+ scaly would give us a 3+ armorsave skelly.... hows...
