I cant see why they would get rid of spirit horsts, there one of the things weve had since we were still warhammer: undead, theyre a perfectly viable option ive a little pricey. The models are dated but easily fixed by using the army of the dead from LOTR.

Ebay, theres a few guys doing unboxed skeletons/ghouls/graveguard other armies too for cheap, think it was £11.50 for the skeletons. I use reaper for characters, again mostly you can get them on ebay for cheap or leisure games stocks all the reaper stuff. Its a shame Mantics stuff is so fugly...

looking at the rules for it against Man O War it looks like it would be fairly easy to "update" the MoW lists to work with Dreadfleet, the only shame is that the old MoW models do look rather dated when put next to the new ones, and a smidge on the small side too. Still going to give it a try...

I had the same idea with him, he's absolutely MASSIVE though, I ended up having to put him on a 40x40 base which makes him look out of place if he joins a unit.

I've just finished the campaign and I've got to lvl 28 in multiplayer. I thought the campaign was good right up until the ending fight with Nemeroth, it was anticlimactic to say the least... The game itself is really solid, the executions to give back health makes the hordes manageable...

I kindof expect them to die alot, hence the three caster vamps and corpse carts to basically just spam IoN and Miasma every magic phase. I know that skeletons are not the best troops but I prefer to use them over ghouls, the one ghoul unit in the list is a necessary concesion to deal with...

Had a test game against Skaven using one of each. The Wraith was a bit meh but did add punch to the Skeletons. The Banshee on the other hand was amazing and ripped through both a big unit of Clanrats and a unit of Plague Monks and Censer Bearers. Well worth the points.

Slann have access to any lore they want so I guess that kinda counts? Other than that, not sure, I would assume the High Elves would have something? An item maybe? since they did technically teach the Empire how to do it...
