Yeah, don't shelve it. Personally this change has kinda loosen things up a bit for me. I dug through the crypt and pulled out some oldies to repaint. Might even start a painting log to once I get past my seasonal job and have time to paint.

I agree. There are several old favorites that would be cool, but the wording is that it's a Von carlstein, so no to many of those. Leaves us with vlad, manfred and Konrad. I'm skipping the likes of Jerek and such. Konrads just not that big of a charactor and so that leaves us vlad and manfred...

It would be cool if it's Isabella and the upgraded her story charactor.

Not sure if this is where it needs to go but did everyone see the new black library release teaser for prisoner of the black sun? Seems we get a glimpse of at least one of the VC heroes still creeping around. I'm betting manfred but..... At least it's a bone thrown out.

I thought i remember reading a post over at warseer that one of the regular info hint guys said no to the AOS rules for 40k. But they may loose the codex. The way it's going I could see them only really needing a few other than the main book anyway.guys like the wolves kinda need their own due...

Part of this is caused by GW trying to placate us for ending there game. (Won't go there, that has its own thread and it's not here) but they brought over enough to try and make everyone happy and ok. Personally, if they wanted the basics then fine, but by including the other lesser "heroes"...

This is really a cool idea for a topic! When I started back in WHFB1 it was just undead. I found myself collecting a figure here and there untill the orig. regiments of renown. I bought the box of the nightmare legion and was hooked( still have it ) when we split and became two differnt groups...

I see what skittlez is saying. We DO have to remember AOS, regardless of our thoughts IS warhammer. Blunts auger said it perfectly it's not the same game, but it's what we have to move forward with. As it grows, it to will change into something differnt. The question here is where do we go from...

I've been with this system so long, the change itself isn't as big of a wallop to me as to others. I just got done playing a back to back game of AOS and first edition WHFB. Plays very simular. With that said, I think the biggest problem is how GW informed us to the new change. Nothing new here...

Should be fine. The original corpse cart drawings are just a wagon pulled by a undead cow with a skeleton rider on the cart. Hey works for me
