I got to test out the Grand Host list today. The scenario prevented a thorough testing and my was Everchosen Varanguard with Archaon at the helm, so a lot of my spells got negated by the 4+ ability. However, Spectral grasp proved to be quite the effective countermeasure as it targets terrain...

At 1000 points Nighthaunt: Knight of shrouds Tomb Banshee -artefact Tomb Banshee Mourngul (app says it's 350 points now) 3x3 spirit hosts.

I am currently painting some morghasts to my match my mortarch (above) and I was wondering what I could do for my skeletons and black knight. Has anybody painted or seen black-boned skeletons? How did they turn out?

For the bone, I went with earth shade, but for neferata, I went with nightshade to match the mount. Just finished today.

Yeah. I'm just not sure which wash to use. I used nuln oil first but it made it kinda dingy, so I put another layer of ushabti bone on. I just always have a hard time putting washes on whites.

Apparently, any wounds that small Morathi takes before transforming, she carries over as double when she transforms. So if she has taken 3 wounds and then transforms, she'll count as having taken six wounds. Not sure how that mechanic works exactly, i.e. if the doubling of wounds counts as...

I've made quite a bit of progress since my last post. I haven't added anything to the skulls, but there's at least some contrasting colors (other than black). Do you think they still need a glow effect?

I'm not sure how to make them "glow." I just got bored with the green ghosts and skulls everyone else had, and I don't like the orange/red for Mannfred. So I made my own bluish layers. Chaos Black spray, then Celeste's Gray, Naggaroth Night, Lothern Blue, then a Praxeti White/Ethereum blue dry...

I think stamping out the revolutionaries is the right choice for Nagash, as it means more dead.

I think most of that was already covered. As for your last point, ALL the TK characters (I.e.khalida, apophas) can now take relics and command traits. Even better, you can take 2 "Settras". That means you take two 18" buff bubbles. You could also make one unit fly 40" with the prayer.

It makes me wonder if Tyrion, Teclis, and Malerion will be getting new models.
