    D6 or even d3 wounds is only done on multi wound models. So he would only kill 8 skeles. Crypty question i dont have book to hand as ive never came across that scenario as i mainly fight woc so never had to check it :(

    Seems relevant to post it hear. In 7th ed you were allowed to have barded knightmare ans the flying vamp rule to combine. Now does the 8th ed book say on foot only as i cant remember nor do i have rulebook to hand

    This is why if its an attack at range it should be only in the shooting phase and count as a shooting attack, with the only exception being magic being in the magic phase. So simple but gw still cocked it up. So alas. RAW means it isnt a shooting attack.

    Best way to use a bound item is when you have one dice in your pool, you have only spells left that cannot be cast with one dice. 9/10 opponent will keep one dice maybe 2 just incase of bound spell. Thats where my scroll of 2 extra dice comes into play...

    Its been mentioned above about howls not affected by items that are based on missle fire above. As far as breath weapons being stated as shooting attacks i dont have book with me to quote rule. But nowhere in the death shriek does it state its a shooting attack so you cant gain shooting...

    No its not a shooting attack. Its a SPECIAL attack. Breath weapons are specifically stated to be a shooting attack in rule book if i remember correctly. Thats why it was faq'ed to rule out shooting ward saves working against it

    He doesnt get a parry. Mortis engine regen saves stack so multiples of them help

    I find krell is alot better for price comparrison. Especially if you field dual mortis engines. 4 wounds on a t5 hero. Insane weapon.

    Inspiring presence works wonders as people forget this. Aura of dark majesty is very good. The above builds i have used and is very successful. Tag team covern thrones are even better and can be done at 2500 points. A successful tactic i use when fielding 2 is what i call fishing...
