The masquerade of murder returns! A new game of Vampires Amongst Us has begun. Unmask the killers, trust no one, and try to survive the night. Find out more and sign up now!
Rest assured, she will be in the list. :)
I'm having a bit of a problem with her though, so I've just put her on hold for a while.
She will not be as she was in her previous GW version however, meaning that I'm using the neferata novel and the nagash trilogy as an inspiration then using my own...
Stradh:
We're always looking for new people to join the project :-)
I'll not comment on the character in this section too much (since this is not the thread for it), other than to say that I personally don't like stuff based on old and outdated warhammer fluff ( or the tvc for that matter)...
Finished my Necromancer and Msater Necromancer for the project. Pretty happy about that, and looking forewards to play-teesting them.
Some key changes:
-Necromancers are living, unless one goes for the Liche upgrade on the Master Necromancer that is.
-They are designed to lurk behind friendly...
No. The Ghoul court consist of Ghouls of a more "civilized", and more well-fed ghouls. The idea is that these ghouls walk and act much more like humans than their "lesser", more degenerated counterparts. Since they walk and act more like regular humans, I think M 4 is fine.
All Vampires have...
Couldn't agree more. I'm fine with the odd Blood Dragon being a bit off his hinges (ref. Red fury), but the idea that they all have Frenzy, particularly the knights, are just borderline absurd... I hate the fact that Blood Knights are Frenzied with Lances no less as well..
This is something...

After some play testing, I've fine tuned the Crypth Ghouls and the skeleton warriors somewhat.
Crypt Ghouls are now generally quicker, and even more dangerous as a flanking unit, while the skeleton...
Toying with a few ideas here, and I'd welcome any feedback:
-Necromancers: I'm thinking of adding a "Craven" special rule to the necromancers, which will make them like the vampires in the list regarding break tests, except for them having to test regardless if the unit they are in are wiped...
In the second Ulrika book, there were lahmians in kislev whom had prepared stuffed bears and the like, which their leader animated if needed.
In the new neferata book, neferata herself learned necromancy, and if I recall correctly, used this to help capture the silver pinnacle.
In the older...
A small list of recent fixes:
-Arzu Banu's maggic weapon fixed. now includes forcing a re-roll on successfull armour saves as well.
-Spirit host unit size changed to 2-5
-Dead Flesh army special rule changed
-One to rule them all army special rule changed
-Legacy of Blood army special rule...
Missed the fact that it could go beyond starting number of wounds here.. I apologize. That changes things a bit though..
I'd consider making Thunderstomp also help with regaining wounds, but then reduce the chance of actually doing so to 5+ or 6+ for all attacks.
Bloodbathmcgrath & Wallisface:
An interesting Diablo-ish unit idea there. :)
I like a lot of what you have done, but I have some hopefully helpful constructive criticism:
-Shackled, 4th sentence. Should probably have re-roll "Successful" to hit and to wound rolls there.
-3D6 movement might...
I agree. That is going to be interesting, and it will will also go along way towards providing a much better understanding of his character and thus the whole origins of the Blood Dragons.
Posted the Blood Wagon, a unique Blood Dragon Chariot option. Rare choice.
Considering the following unit ideas:
- Necrarch Acolytes (a coterie of "champion lvl" necrarch vampires, whose main purpose is to help provide the army with more P.D through sacrifices (think Incantation of Reaping...
True. He did kill a dragon on his own, and that is something entirely doable by a vampire lord in game terms as well. Hell, it is fairly easy to make a Vampire Lord in 8th ed whom can kill a dragon, in one turn and without a dragon getting to strike before it dies even (and Abhorash's fight...
