Or would this one work better? I've just finished painting my vc and I've never used them in a game yet. I'm just trying to get my head round list building with vampires.

sculpy works quiet well but needs oven baking to set hard. das air drying clay is air drying but feels really weird and has what look like hairs in it. What might work well for you is pink insulation foam, it is easy to carve, light and cheap. It's often used for making terrain.
Hellcannon counts as monster and handlers pg 66 WoC, pg 73 BRB. therefore unsaved wounds are randomised between the chaos dwarves 5-6 and cannon 1-4.
Target hellcannon as usual ignoring the dwarves.
roll to wound against the hellcannon, roll to see how many wounds it causes and randomise these...
It seems daft to take the field of battle without any ranged weapons. My biggest problem with the two armies I play, VC and WoC is there are no ranged weapons. Knowing that these types of weapons are being deployed against them any general would get hold of them or hire merceneries that could...
your wraiths look a lot like zombies to me. Is the link right? I'd probably go for a very pallid and aged look for him, use some grey in the highlight to make him look exhausted.
Ghouls in progress.
they still need highlights and a few bits and pieces
Test model
I've also got a unit of zombies nearly finished but its half term this week so painting time is severely limited.
A very fine drybrush highlight of gretchin green gives a slightly mouldy look and devlan mud helps with ageing.
For leather boots I use a scorched brown base coat, black ink then built up to dark flesh with vermin brown on the edges where there is wear and scuffs.

RE: Dogmar's painting log - Update: Ghoul unit, Spirit Hosts coming soon!
looks like it might match how I'm doing my ghouls. army painter bone spray, ogryn flesh with a rotting flesh highlight.
ghoul
different view
Hope that helps
Thanks everyone. I decided to go for a green wash in the end for the zombies and ogryn flesh with a rotting flesh highlight for the ghouls. They've come out quiet well. I'll post pictures later.
Tommorrows painting is either Mantic ghouls or zombies and I am wracking my brain trying to work out what colours to go for, for flesh. Both zombies and ghouls fluff puts them looking like cadavers and I want to be able to distinguish them on the tabletop.
how have you distinguished them?

My spirit host from my bits box. You would be better to stick to WHFB figures rather than LotR as there is a scale difference, the weapons bend/snap easily and i think, due to property rights you can't win best painted army at warhammer tournaments if your army includes stuff from LotR.
If you are just painting the whole eye black it should be doable with a detail brush and thinned chaos black. I do eyes that way before adding white on either side in the corners for the sclera, leaving the iris and pupil black.
I use both Quickshade and Devlan mud/Badab black/Tamaya thinners. getting nice results from both. Quickshade can be quite stinky.
Belly got great results from Wilkinsons quick drying woodstain. I'd link to the thread but computer won't let me.
you aren't wrong. Most of their back catalogue on vinyl. I got "For those about to rock we salute you" out of the library on cassette when I was 12 and been a fan ever since.
Uglybug, I think I have some spare fingers in the bits box and I know theres a rat in a box of heroquest. I was...
My wife and I were discussing what instrument a zombie musician would play and she said "Definatly not a guitar as they would slice their fingers off on the strings" which made me laugh and also got me thinking.
