I agree with LordTobiothan. The rulebook is not specific here. You are awarded points for each destroyed enemy unit. That is all it says. Therefore you get the VPs no matter how they were killed, be it by the reign of chaos or a miscast.

I agree for the most part. The more worrying thing is what this means for 9th ed. though... Some of the new rules i.e. combined profiles make a lot of sense and tighten up rules and speed up the game. Others like the similar to 40k allies stuff and legion rules is not good news.

I have had humidity issues but never ones with cold. The problem with high humidity is that the paint will sometimes start to congeal in the air and you get a dusty finish on the models. It isn't usually a problem as it can be painted over though.

Yeah. It can be a problem. If you have a bad round of CC, you will end up losing purely due to static res and banner, etc.

I think the fact that your taking them off the smaller rulebook is the issue also. There are a few nice summaries you can get online though that might work as they are in PDF format.
