Thank you.
I been meaning to post pictures of the rest of the 1k force that was brought to the doubles tournament. I was pleasantly surprised that I won best painted army. I got all my mistakes touched up on these models. As I really was pressed for time. To get 15 infantry, and 2 tanks...
Here is some more of my Sisters of Battle. I just got one more rhino to finish up before Saturday. Been trying to get it all ready for a 40k doubles tournament. If all goes well the entire force is done.
I never was a big fan of the bugs. Ya the crazy nuns in power amour is great. These are going to be part of a 1000 point doubles force I am trying to get done by Dec 14th. As it is on the 15th. I really hate to play with unpainted models. I also learned from experience paint what I got...
Sisters of battle has always been my favorite 40k army. The models have so much things going for them. The exorcsit tank for sure is over the top for crazyness.
Sisters of battle models are still my favorite 40k stuff by far. With the exception of the dark vengeance chaos stuff and dark angels. Too bad this whole line is metal right? It is tough to convert stuff from them.
I agree with your friend on that The hidden one. Seems that they where given a bone really. Guess they had to when they took all the inquisitor stuff and gave it the Grey Knights, along with Grey Knights bathing in sister blood. The rumor is they are supposed to have a summer release. Now...
I agree. I wonder how much they lost in sales, since the White Dwarf codex for Sisters of Battle. Also the entire line being direct order only also has to put a dampener on it. I really do enjoy the look of the models myself. They where popular in 3rd edition when Witchhunters was out, and...
Oh sorry about not having more of a background listed here. My army theme background is a decimated wood elf army that the leaders where embarrassed and turned into vampires.
I made a list using all infantry and grave guard. I was trying to see how a list revolving around a black knight bus...
I had thought of this idea also. Not sure what has more hitting power or is more balanced. A infantry approach or a black knight bus with three heavy hitters in it. I really like the idea of my other list but I also like this idea. So I am not sure which way to go. If anyone has any ideas...
I think I got the correct thread. I was talking with a player around my area. He currently plays VC and has Tomb Kings. This guy has played undead when they where just one army. He said something that had got me to thinking.
Zombies are for a strong magic vampire of master necromancer. Due...
That is actually one of the basic chic with bolters. I decided to use those as superiors for my normal troop squads. As I am running them stock. I could not justify paying 10 bucks for one with a sword and bolter when those worked just fine.
My suggestion is get a hold of Tomb King skeleton hand weapons, or High Elf spears. Dark Elf spears might work too. Of course you will need to do some modeling work. Especially if you go with the hand weapon route. You will need to cut and readjust the other arm.
That is what I plan to do...
Not a bad conversion. A little different then what I was thinking. Really just the Tomb King shields and tuba are out of place if you where basing them from Wood Elves.
When I was thinking skeletons, you could use the different arms, and skulls like you did. Even using the unarmored chest...
As for Sisters of Battle. The options are flamers or melta guns. Both in abundant quantities. You can not go wrong with about 30 ish bolter babes. Then a Saint Celestine, and Jacobus. I am sure you are ready to drop some serious cash on them. Best bet is to get them used, like badly...
Ask around your friends. I am sure someone might have the two "out of print" white dwarves. They sold out of the copies very fast. Ebay is too much for the codex, and people know it. Like 100 bucks starting bid for the one without the rules. I got a copy of the codex a friend made a pdf for...
Thank you RoguePanda. Too bad around my game area no one really plays Sisters or not for long. I really like the models and they do not look so bland as most marines to me.
It was a pain in the butt. This army I actually bought back after selling it to a friend 8 years ago. These poor girls...
