I for sure should try larger units of wolves. But I think a unit of 5 vs a unit of 10+ have different potential, your strategy has a chance to take out more enemies on its own. Cause your opponent to wet himself, My strategy for 5 is limiting the amount of points the enemy can kill per round.

They are glass cannon. I use them to keep up with lord to combo charge(I have them in conga line, to get 8x strength 5 attacks to support my lord). Or they deal with enemy chaff. Or WM crew. I find them versatile.
