Thanks again for all the comments and critiques everyone. I think this model looks warmer because of the dark colours I used this time and that I used my camera and took the pics instead of letting my dad take the pics with his camera. I also think I didn't use enough snow on the base, going...
Really like the stories, And the zombies look great. But zombies not good with weapons? yeah they will never be as good as Luke Skywalker again, but swinging around a rusty bit of jagged iron like a madman is always better than trying to bite and claw through chain mail lol.
BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!!!!! I had to beg my dad to paint this one, He really wanted to do this one himself. This has to be the most fun I had painting a model yet. It just has so much detail and gory stuff on it. I really hope I did the model justice.
@Sessioni Love the wings on the Vampire Lord, it makes him more..............Badass!!! Hope he has a lot of weight in that base to hold him up, he looks heavy. That's why I prefer plastic over medal models, the metal banners are so heavy the dude keeps falling over, got sick of one guy falling...
My Zombie Horde, I painted them to fit in with my dads White Walker Army. As you can see I prefer the Games Workshop Zombies over my dads Mantic Zombies. Plus I have a Corpse cart to go with it when I get it painted.
@Borgnine Thanks and LMAO yes your right about that, me and my dad was just going through our parts box today and was wondering what on earth we will do with all those Chaos Warrior heads. You can have them if you need them for anything lol. I used one of the fifty on a zombie but the rest ughhh...
Thanks for the comments everyone it makes all the work worthwhile when other people like what you spent long hours making.
@Tawg I suppose its a lot different now days painting models, we have so much access to you tube videos for painting tips and guidance, and dads that grew up painting...
The Dark Prince finds a dead legion of Chaos Warriors, that he raises from their slumber to serve him as his personal body guard. This elite unit of undead warriors he names The Grave Guard.
This was a fun project that me and my dad worked on together ( Thank god we worked as a team...
Vlad and Konrad look great, the dragon has had a blood bath, sometimes with blood less is more, even though in reality blood is messy and covers everything, it just covers so much nice detail.
Dark energy flows from the Necromancers hands into the ground, The dead rise from their graves glowing with the Necromancers dark energy. They died on this battlefield long ago, now all they know is anger and hatred of the living.
They run through the freezing night, their bones creaking...
LOL yeah it was sand, but after thinking about it, I am going to make the base into a snow base. That way I can merge my army with my dads army (The Night King's White Walker army) when ever needed. They will be two separate armies that can come together if we need a big army. That way my dad...
Hello I'm new here, I'm 13 years old and just started painting Warhammer with my dad. This is my first unit of skeletons made from left over bits my dad didn't use. I gave them a light blue paint, because I imagine these skeletons still glowing with energy having just been raised from their graves
Love the Army pic, the green brings it all together, I'm thinking of doing something similar but will be using bright blue energy to command my army of undead.
