Real Tactics in Age of Sigmar

Well, the Lord Relictor was stationed at the top of the tower and only got a single round of attempting his miracles until being slain by Mannfred. I think the Celestant did wound Mannfred by using the lightning breath, but only inflicted a single wound. I might have gone a bit overboard in...

Real Tactics in Age of Sigmar

The scenario allows for 1 unit and 1 hero to serve as the garrison. You can read it for yourself if you have the book. I sure hope he did remember to add it, but since he was a beginner I cannot be sure he did not forget a whole bunch of rules that might have helped him. I do remember the...

Real Tactics in Age of Sigmar

I just played my first game of Age of Sigmar. Were playing the Watchtower mission in the recent book. My opponent was using the contents of the Stormcast Eternals part of the starter set. I was using: Mannfred Von Carstein, Mortarch of the Night. 1 Necromancer 1 corpse cart 10 skeletons 10...

    Not so hordy VC possible?

I don't know, maybe Mannfred or Vlad. Though if you are planning to use alot of Blood Knights, maybe you should pick the blood dragon vampire on the zombie dragon for theme reasons.

Real Tactics in Age of Sigmar

Maybe there will be a point to study actual formations now and apply those to the game. I do have a feeling real life tactics may actually work here. And people say formation are dead, what a joke.

Real Tactics in Age of Sigmar

Glad to see someone is still positive. My own views on the game has changed in a positive direction lately as well. I just feel most people just assume Age of Sigmar contains no advanced tactics with no real evidence. Though I did see a battle report using the starter said and what I saw there...

    Overreactions to Age of Sigmar

Truth me told I consider this guy a massive idiot for doing so. With the total value of that he could just as well have burned his own car. It is totally in his right to do, but it is such a waste it bothers me to watch. I do not get why some people are so obsessed with the idea that a game...

    Age of sigmar

I did speak to some GW employes about this issue and the rules the they are gonna use in this store at least is that you cannot summon a unit you did not actually field. So in order to summon skeletons for example you must actually have a unit of skeletons on the board. That being said, Nagash...

    Age of sigmar

Well, chaos daemons can summon at least, beastmen cannot though, not sure about warriors as I have not checked it yet, but I doubt it.

    AoS Warscrolls are live

Well, according to what I see the version of the vampire lord on the Zombie Dragon seems Blood Dragon inspired, probably because the model is a Blood Dragon vampire.

    Age of sigmar

Well, nothing seems to stop me from fielding about 10 or so vampire lords now, have converted alot of them over the years and normally I could only use a few of them at once. I wonder if the fact that they are seperate units would be a drawback though. I don't think there is any way to make a...

    Age of sigmar

I think how it is written now however means you need to actually field the same unit to gain acces to it's summoning spell. So you need zombies to summon zombies and black knights to summon black knights. etc. Also, I see no other army being able to summon, just the undead ones. What non undead...

    AoS Warscrolls are live

Maybe I should give it a chance. It might be a fine game to play for fun even if it does not work competatively. Maybe I should read some of the other warscroll compendiums. I can at least see the value in taking zombies and skeletons as the individual models becomes better the more of them you...

    AoS Warscrolls are live

I think they were hammered when they wrote these rules.

    AoS Warscrolls are live

Well, seems units have a minimum number of models here at least for the warscrolls. Also, WTF 6 attack fell bats. Edit, also, can you summon everything? That seems really broken.

    AoS Warscrolls are live

At least Isabella seems like a decent fighter now.

    AoS Warscrolls are live

"One Bat Short of a Belfry: Konrad is a violent lunatic, and his temper does little to help his stretched sanity. If, during your hero phase, you talk to Konrad von Carstein, you can re-roll all hit rolls of 1 for him until your next hero phase. If Konrad von Carstein talks back to you, re-roll...

    Age of sigmar

From what I have seen it seems the scenarios in the starter box cover which models is used in a battle. So I guess it is possible that force organization is covered by the scenario. I hope so at least, though I am getting the feeling this is a narrative game rather than a competative one. There...

    Good Vampires in Warhammer?

Like i have said before in another topic, i have never considered the average vampire to be evil. At least not more evil then the average human (or elf or dwarf for that matterxD). As a philosofer and a follower of the occult i am also reluctant to call something evil just because it is of...

    Bloodline Special Characters

Yes, nights dark masters are the correct source. No wonder some of you did not know who Madame Kalfon was as i think that the only source i ever read that ever mentioned her. However i think she can be a intresting Necrarch character as she differs from the other necrarch vampires. Maybe...
