This list features a ton of units/models. The 2 vampires will lead the grave guard making them a tough nut to crack.

The list will just spam zombies all game long ;) Well that's the plan anyways.
Time of Madness

To me, it feels a bit death star-ish, only in that you have alot of points tied up in one slow moving unit. If this unit gets avoided (march blocked?) you'll have a hard time wining a game, especially as you have some units that can go down very quickly if denied ranks and outnumbering.

I'd also say your lord seems a bit hybrid for my tastes, although I know other do run their lords like this. Not sure the necros need the powerstones for their spells. Might be better to get at least one dispell scroll, just in case!

I'm concerned that your list lacks options. You have a mass of Zombies, but few units that can actually win combats. Having played against a zombie summoning list I know that Zombie units can die VERY quickly, and you lack the support to make the army function effectively.

I'd also point out that your army is, almost by definition, horrifically vulnerable to any big flying beatstick. This is because you will rely on your grave guard to win you the game, and consequently they need to be in the front line. I'm not convinced your general is tough enough to be sitting in the front line, and an aggressive player with a blood thirster/star dragon/etc is going to be able to prove that to you. Unfortunately if you come up against that sort of issue you don't have any options... there simply isn't anywhere else for your general to hide and you don't really have anything else to slow the enemy down.

I've run a list with a very powerful grave guard unit in, and it can be quite tricky to force a victory with... the army just struggles to get to grips with the enemy.

Perhaps you could investigate some small flanking units of black knights? At 120 points each they are very mobile and can negate ranks, which can give even zombies the edge in combat (although I'm still a bit nervous). I'd also consider ergo-sum's observation that your general lacks focus. Either go all out for magic and hide, or revel in the amount of damage you can dish out... and pray nothing goes wrong!

Let us know how the list works out for you - it's always good to see results with different armies.
