So this is a tailored list. My dwarf opponent is going to bring one as well. From the way i know him he will likely bring his Anvil of Doom. He doesnt have any helicopters and he is abolutely against proxy so i dont have to worry about that.
The reason i think he will bring the Anvil is because its still relatively strong against VC, giving him spells to cast and extra dispel and pdice. Everytime i played him in tailored lists he brought it and it has been a pain everytime.
he will likely come with miners, longbeards, thunderers, a cannon, an organgun, warriors.

Id really like some extra feedback on my list and view i have on what i want to achieve with it:

- Strigoi Ghoul King: lvl1 LoV, Beguile, Red Fury.
Cursed Book, Sword of Bloodshed, Dragonbane Gem

- Cairn Wraith
- Necromancer, lvl2 LoV, Book of Arkhan
- Wight King, BSB (Banner of Swiftness), shield

- 40 Cryptghouls+champion
- 33 zombies+banner
- 20 zombies

- 10 Hexwraiths+champion
- Spirit host
- Spirit host
- 6 Vagheists+champion

Idea is to have those ghouls with Ghoulking, cairnwraith and Wightking-bsb walk up swiftly to get in combat with whatever and start chewing away with vdm and any other spell that comes out of the book.
To have the 33 zombies cover one of the ghoul flanks and hopefully increase it a little with sign in first 2 turns. small unit of zombies is to bunker the necromancer, following the ghouls closely and be within 6" preferably at all times.
Vargheists are for hunting the warmachines and the or for dual-charging with the ghouls, depending abit on how the game evolves, since im facing dwarfs with low initiative or asl im going to be rampaging and dishing out alot of attacks before he can react.
The hosts and hexwraiths are going to be used mostly to cover my other flank and/or threaten opposing units with their etherealness.

Looking forward to suggestions/ideas.

If you think he is bringing anvil i would never use Hexwraiths.
All dwarfs warmachines have runes ie magic dammage. So you have a 310p bait or a good anvil blast will make dust of them. I would rather use a CH unit like 8 or so and then i would use some felbats for bait and hold up organguns.
And get some wolves in there so you get some real speed.
My thoughts. :)

mmm thats not stoopid at all. youre right about those hexies, theyre too vulnerable facing so much magic shooting and his magicmissile.
Im not going for wolves though, i have found them to be utterly useless against dwarfs since they just get shot to pieces in turn 1.
The gheists are the warmachine hunters and spirit hosts are redirectors. If i take those crypthorrors instead of hexies i will use them as redirectors as well which kind of forfeits wolves imo. march 12" is still 2x faster than any dwarfmarch.

Same goes for the bats..... that group of thunderers or rangers just eats a unit like that for breakfast in turn 1 and then you lost a redirector unit that didnt do anything. Sure you can say it cost him a turn to shoot at it.... but i feel its more a waste to loose 30+ points for nothing

I don't know about the guy you are playing, but usually a dwarf general has 1+/2++ for range and 1+/4++ for CC. Instead of Sword of Bloodshed, you may consider Obsidian blade and instead of Taking a magic BSB, you could take Nightshroud or OTS on the WK. I would also take an Ironcurse Icon. His magic resistance is going to be better than your wizard's power, so maybe take Dark Acolyte on the SGK.
