Never been impressed by the performence of light horsemen. I rather have a big heavy horsemen unit to work in conjuction with the chariots, can be used to great effect through CR(flanks + outnumber) can be used to steamroll over weak points in your opponents army and hopefully open up to some evil rear charges.
I have heard of people who´ve had success with their light horses though so if you like yours I wouldnt change a thing in this list.
I do intend to try Heavy Cavalry sometime in the future, and hopefully will get good results from them. Thanks anyway.
i would say much the same thing - i have always been a bit unsure about light horsmen, and dropping them would allow for another 3 chariots and a magic item for the TP but its your list so do what you think is good.
Hmmm, another 3 chariots? That would be a bit much in this list, only because it is more focused on shooting. You also have to consider how well the chariots would actually fare, otherwise they would be included in the list. But then again, there is nothing to actually stop me from trying this out either. So yes, I will try it out eventually.
Lookinga t it now, I'd actually lose the light for heavy cavalry just to add some punch to the list.
It seems that many people are saying the same thing. Well, there is nothing to stop me from actually using them.
The other things that you said are in a PM Seth.
Dump the light horsemen for a TS and get the prince in a chariot. Give the priest the Hieratic Jar if points allow...
A TS eh? One of the most useful units in a
TK army. To be honest, I don't think that there is any reason for it to be included, that doesn't however discount the idea entirely. And as for the Prince in a chariot, that is something else to consider. Why give the priest the Hieratic Jar? I don't have my army book to hand, so bear with me.
