A new member has awake

Greetings, my dark fellows ,

After reading the blog for some time I have decided to resurrect properly and join the armies of the night.

I'm Zambula, I've been playing Warhammer since childhood, in the 5th edition. I got my first Vampire Counts when a highschool mate got tired of theirs and sold them cheap. Basically a batalion with 5 beautiful metal Blood Knights. It was one of my main armies since then through 7th and 8th.

A few years ago I moved to Switzerland and I was able to complete my Army of the Crypts, which I'm currently repairing.

I recently joined a local community of old players, th Karak Norn Wargaming Club here in Zürich, and we are preparing a narrative campaign for 6th edition. I'm super excited to come back to the fields of battle!

I expect to learn, read and discuss about rules, lore and painting.

I also want to add that my favourite army of Vampire Counts (and all Undeads) is the Army of the Cairns (WD#311-UK). It is the closest we get to Nagash, and has the flavour of the 4th-5th ed undead (mummies, chariots, etc), but with the ruleset of 6th

Yes I am! And no, I do not play Vampire Coast. Pirate zombies is too cool for my taste
Vampire counts were one of my main armies (with Dark Elves) during 6th and 7th edition.

I'm currently trying to build a Necrarch army, both because they are cool and because one of my rivals likes to play Tzeentch

Welcome! I also started with Vampire Counts, and started getting into Dark Elves, but then the world blew up... I sold off the elves, but the undead horde is still mine to control.

Not a bad decision. I am lucky to have both, but I have mastered none yet.
