Abysal Terror conversion

Ok, so I've got a Chaos Lord on a Steed of Slaanesh. I want to turn that into a fighty vampire on a Terror. The part that I need to figure out is the wings.

I'm thinking either belrog or nightmare wings, but I have never used either and have no idea if they'd be near the right size. Any advice?

Why not 2 sets of Gargoyle wings instead of the traditional 1 large pair? It would look really original and funky and you know they would fit size wise.:zombie:

I like the idea of two sets of gargoyle wings. Could look really cool if you pull it off.

Or else, the wigns from pegasus knights. But perhaps they might not fit with the image you want for it.

If you are going for wings the Balrog wings are among the best out there, and the wings I would personally go for - they are actually big enough to look like they can lift the creature!

I am actually putting the finishing touches on a pegasus from the whimpy knights for my terror. I made it a black pegasus to resemble a winged nightmare. I want to do another one and take a head off of one of my necharch horses to give my next one a more undead feel. I choose to do the wing's alot like a ravens instead of making them a leathery type. Don't know this helps any but its what I had come up with.

This conversion immediately made me think of the Angelius from Hordes. Imagine a vampire riding into battle on this thing:

Also i agree with the 2-sets-of-wings idea, sounds like it could well be pretty funky.

That does look like a super sweet conversion. I'm waiting on the wings still, I ordered them with my the new rule book so I wouldn't have to pay shipping. As soon as I get something done with it I'll post picks.

I got the wings, way to huge. I'll be putting this on hold, especially since AT can no longer break ranks I don't see using it often.

Oh I like that a lot, I started out doing an AT conversion using the Balrog wings and a giant, I may even finish it one day

That would be really sweet. I wouldn't mind seeing a picture so I could steal the... I mean create a tribute model and not steal your ideas.
