Not as far as I know. Probably when they were told to do their own thing it all went tits up. In the books one of them is captain of the harbour guard, I can't remember which.

I just hope this is where chaos gets utterly trounced. More units than UL got and perhaps (not all chaos I know) more characters, really worried how it's all going to be fitted in one book!
Trounced nothing. We already know how this ends. Chaos wins this, and the world is shattered. The interesting part is how we get there. I hope the undead legion picks up some neat formations.

Also, Archaon only got himself a little buff called "unbreakable"
Everything else is (I think) the same. And he really lacked that, because he could be broken and pursued with a little laugh...
EDIT: the downside is, he's got Daemonic Attacks... so Elves are gonna have a big laugh at him, even after destroying his magical weapon...

His stuff is the same, and then sprinkled with crack. Most of his stuff got buffs and he gained 2 wizard levels

Archaon is... interesting. He costs 215 points more than his regular counterpart for an increased wizarding level of 4 (with two of the best spell lores, two meta punishing lores and one all purpose lore), Unbreakable, increased statline/combined with Dorghar statline, the ability to have two stone throwers on his reign chart, a 24" inspiring presence, giving his swords of chaos unbreakable instead of ItP, then the regular stuff we are used to for Archaon.
But, he can, again, get killed by his sword

BotWD is still almost autowin against them.
Empire = shoot all the Core options to death
Undead Legions = Scream all their monsters / lone characters to death
Elves = just push all the Daemons / Daemonic Attack units with BotWD and break some items off. Let Tyrion get the glory, of course.
Orcs & Goblins = Steal all their magical items away
Dwarves = bombard everything, burn everything
Lizardmen = 600+ skinks and just poison all Skaven / Daemonic Warmachines / shooty crews to death. We don't need anything else from them =P
that's the winning strategy for the final battle guys, if they somehow manage to screw that up, I'm going to march on GW and demand us to be placed as Generals of the End Times, instead of the narrative guys D: (they'd suck with so much advantage!)

Solid recap, only thing I can see missing is the fsct that he has 12 attacksinstead of 10 when unleashing his sword.
The new rare and special choices looks cool too but will also depend on what base size they will get, 40mm inf. like the blightkings is not out of the question looking at their statline.

I'm not actually seeing an armor save on this Archaon. Just the armors effect.
Also why is every other army getting better new units then we did >.> morghasts are just half of a varghiest mixed with half a crypt horror...

He get 1+ armor save, it is written on the italic text in the first part before magic lvl
So... has anybody heard more rumors about the isabella situation, other than what we already know - that she gets new rules, and is in a chaos army with the turncoat nameless and a bunch of nurgle demons that battles an undead legions list led by the remainder of the von carstein bloodline (vlad, luthor, manny & his get)?
Any further leaks on what those rules look like, or how that battle plays out? Does she kill Vlad? Does Vlad break nurgle's hold on her, winning her over as a playable character for the undead legions?

I haven't and I've tried.! The leaks from the last ET book is not up to par with the other releases.. The suspense is killing me..!
