I just finished reading Ulrika the Vampire: Bloodborn (going to start the sequel soon) and I got stuck in my head to get Aristocratic Lahmians, with fancy dresses, wigs, etc. apart from the new Isabela, I can't find good models. I also can't find good Lahmiam BSB models.
Any help?

Silly me, this one could fit....I think...
But the face is pretty meh...

Any others? Any BSB models?

This one is good also.

There's already a couple of Lahmian model threads, DoN's especially has a lot of very varied suggestions. :)

I can't see a stereotypical Lahmian vampire be bothered with lugging a battle standard around. Thematically I think you'd be better off with a good old Wight King for that job. :)

Perhaps if she was the banner... you know, inspiring all those Undead with her body rather than waving a flag around. :clown:

I saw his topic and made suggestions myself but the models shown there aren't really Aristrocatic Vampires. More like Seductive Vampires, no Lady dresses/gowns, wigs, etc. :)

the problem games workshop have with vampire models is they give such harsh shadows on their cheeks, making them look like their sucking on lemons the whole time. most female vampire models are fairly decent if you don't use GWs harsh shadow style. a BSB you could use a Bretonian Damsel and replace her staff with a banner like from grave guard.

Have you considered just using the gw one and then seeing as its fine cast, removing the bones from the back and plopping the top half of one of the new vampire females from the Coven Throne?

Would the Carnevale models be anything like what you're thinking of?

There's also models like Bella Signa and Queen of Shadows from Freebooter.

Don't Forget Reaper Miniatures Pathfinder Range "Master Spy".... I've looked at this one myself a couple of times.

Or... with the right Paint scheme, "Queen Ileosa of Korvosa"

But then again... the new Coven Throne Vampire girls have nice separate heads that would let you get that "powdered wig" look for a nice conversion of any type... You can bet I'll be doing some of those myself, once I can get some of those bits.

I just dont see it as being in the Lahmian theme for a vampiress to be a BSB, that kind of work is for wight king servants really.

Don't have my book with me right now, but I had the impression that only Wight Kings can be made the BSB nowadays. I found it rather strange in the previous edition when my BSB was also a wizard.

You should read the Bloodborn and Bloodforged novels. Ulrika is a very combat and warrior like Lahmian to the point of only wearing women's clothes on social calls. I can see one such as her carrying her mistress's Standard.

Thanks, all very cool.
Is the goblin on the last mini separate?
Are the last two on 20mm or 25mm bases?

In the Freebooters Fate range I found this one:

Ulrika as I understand it is a bit of a Black Sheep among the Lahmians, a complete maverick. The majority of Lahmians would not do servants work :p
But its up to you in the end.

Thats because she is a Von Carstein.
Her sire was and his sire which now cares for her lives the life of a Lahmian but has a mixed Bloodline between the 2.

Ulrika though has always been one for action rather than sitting back but more recently in Novels she has been capable of both being the lady and the hunter.

True enough. But I guess that pairing should be uncommon. Afterall, both bloodlines are full of Vampires living among humans who prefer the Noble/Aristocratic life and like to meddle in human politics (though through different methods).

Maybe what I'm looking for / am interested in is in a mix of both.

I've actually got the Comtessa miniature on Order but I gotta say I am not impressed with Freebooters Customer care as I've been waiting nearly 9 weeks for it and they keep ignoring my emails!!:zombie:

Wow.... found pictures of this one over at Warseer while looking for conversion ideas for my own Coven Throne ladies...

Definitely cool... and makes me want to do a re-build of my general for my Mordheim mob.
