BK bus tactics...

I am looking at making a bus list. While the Bus itself is easily constructed, the army around it is giving me a slight pause.

I am down to the nitty gritty and am trying to decide between a second unit of hex wraiths or a unit of 4 Vargheists. The vargheists would be for wizard hunting and soft target smashing. The hexwraiths would be an offensive tool and flank protector.

What you guys think?

For the bk bus I recommend hex wraiths. The key to winning with the bus is to make sure it gets into combat with the unit(s) you want. Hex wraiths ensure chaff units don't cause you a problem, you can just soul strider right through units, with two units to even greater effect, and ram the bus down your opponents throat. They also provide a screen for missle fire, and being ethereal can cause big problems for your enemy and draw magic missiles n such away from your bus.

Vargheists can do this effectively as well, but I think the hexies will prove more valuable however....If your opponents have lots of artillery though, the ghiests may be more useful, but i think chaff elimination is more important to the bk bus.

I'd still go for hexwraiths if they have artillery. Vanguard one turn of move then a charge and you take out the war machine. Plus the warmachine can't shoot them on the way in.

Does that new DoC cannon have magical attacks? That'll bring the total to two magic cannons in the game if so.

Hmmmm
I've been thinking:
Vamp lord: SoS, Enchanted Shields, HA, Barded Nightmare, Quickblood, Red fury, Fear incarnate, and Dispel Scroll with lore of death 390
Vampire: Shield, HA, Barded Nightmare, level 2, dark acolyte, and aura of dark majesty with lore of vamp 212
Wight King: Great Weapon, Barded skeletal steed, and Nightshroud 150
all inside a unit of 15 BK (i'm thinking 3x6 or i could go 5 wide) with the screaming banner
Altogether coming in at a whopping 1197 points for a 2500 pt army.

Lord has to have Vampires as he is your general. Also SoS is a waste IMO with ASF and high WS
