Black knight conversion idea

Okay well I was reading one of the old white dwarfs and I saw this and was like wow this is awsome i might remake my black knights mounts to look like this.

I've also had some thoughts of converting black knights... The thing bugging me however is that it is imo a little too much armour on those guys and I'd like mine to look like the grave guards but holding lances and the problem is that there are no grave guard lances around and then u have to use different arms and stuff.

that Horse is an awesome idea though.

Oups yes you said it was all about the horse so well I agree with you I guess.

Still the rider is bugging me.

You could always use skeleton spears and modify the tip of it.

I don't like that the chainmail around it's neck is so... stiff. At least when there's no flesh on it.
And the legs to. Fleshy and boney don't go well together (like on Mannfreds horse -which also combines some reptile).

Yeah, i agree with dark sheep on all points. The thing with this model is that it's a STATUE that seems to have been dispoiled by the undead. Accounting for the stiffness of the chainmail etc

Ah, makes much more sense now you can see that it is meant to be a statue that has been warped.

If you want to get the same look, Empire horses and GG sprue works well, you can modify the spears to look like lances. I personally prefer Bret horses myself.

But with the old skeleton sprue. I think what he meant was the combination worked well and looked very similar (except cooler, GG make all the difference).

i think i might have changed a leg or parts of a leg but its still a nice idea. =P
