that's fine chobber. call up their direct services for your area and say you bought it from their online store and it's missing something.

heck, i bought a vc army box and the corpse cart came with no base. (from an independent retailer, not gw)
called up direct services and told them i bought it at hobby kingdom, no base.
they said "sorry for the trouble, we're gonna ship you out a whole new corpse cart box to replace the one you have now, you can either make a homemade base, or use it for some really kickarse terrain!"

they are great when it comes to that.
oblits direct serviced.... no right arms, shipped me 3 arms for them (but they were also lefts) so they shipped me 3 rights after.
FW avatar, never got it, though on the logs it says it was included in the parcel, they shipped me a replacement one.

they are great, just call them up.

My knights only needed a little touch up with green stuff here and there and weren't that horrible to fit together. Maybe it's because I'm used to putting together kits from hell or something but it wasn't that bad really.
What really annoys me are the Grave Guard with great weapons; not difficult to put together mind, but my fingers get glued unto the weapons.

On the same subject as Blood Knights, Ive been wondering if anyone else is planning on using alternative miniatures to the Blood Knights released with the new Vampire Counts, as they don't really fit my theme?, If so what miniatures are you planning to convert.

Still thinking about suitable alternatives myself. While I love the miniatures, they don't quite look 'Undead Imperial' enough, which means either a new army (not such a hardship, save for the fact that I can't afford or store it...), some heavy conversion work (possibility - some plumes on the helmets, ivy wreaths here and there) or alternative models (stuck for what to use, though).

If you're doing Undead Bretonnians, some distressed Grail Knights with exposed faces might be interesting.
