I'm not too sure about the presence of living units.
Nagash's aim is to end all life, thereby ending any influence that the gods could possibly have on his realm (i.e with no one to worship the Gods, the Gods cannot gather souls, so the Gods 'die').
Any living units would have to be fanatical worshippers of Nagash, if Nagash was to tolerate their presence. I think that he considers anything alive as a possible threat - just look as his past experiances with the living!
Nagashi would be fine, but I think to support this ideal, they would have to be very few in number - elite expensive units, and certain characters perhaps?
