The robes are black + Deneb stone glazed with black, no paint on the seeds straight out the bag there a pain to stick down though.

That's a really great idea for highlighting black, as I'm very tired of the Shadow Grey or Codex Grey style. Consider your method stolen!:grin:

Foundation paint. Good for off-white clothes as well - it's got a slightly rough texture.

I´ve seen oregano (the spice) used as flock and it looks like leaves. A similar look to that actually.

Nicely done with the Banshee's black/white block freehand. I also like the Banshee's highlighting, very nice!

The Foundations are an alternative GW paint range, intended for basecoating (I use them a lot for second stages and texturing too, or whenever I need a thicker paint to counter the watery Vallejos I use for highlights). Yr. local GW retailer ought to be able to scare some up for you.

I love those Wraiths and also the Bats.
About the Wraiths. So you basecoated them black and then "just" highlighted them with foundation paint?

Lovely, I really like your brown bats, a lot better looking than the black ones in the army book. Lovely bases as well

The Fell Bats are great, painting wise.
I don't like the pose onto the trees/sign. The Fell Bat models don't really have obvious claws sticking out, so it's hard to pose them in any other way.

Where did you get the trees that you use on your bases? They look great. The fellbat models are silly, but you gave them a good paint job. Nice looking work so far. Any change we can see more of you army? (I need inspiration ;-) )

One minor thing - you could, perhaps, have filled in the little socket where the flying base's stem goes. In their bellies. Apart from that? Groovy.
