I'm in my friends campaign with the map being Breyland from the D&D Ebberron setting, we are doing 3k lists with the players including myself and its being run through the store. I got my capital, 2 supply centers and a city, 150 pts garrisoned in my capital and city and I have no supply points left (we started with 10). I've got a few problems already, first off I definitely can't use my vamps I got from Reaper, asked the manager and he said no so I am going to have to buy at least 2 Lords and I really don't want a von carstein and already have a Lahmian with staff which reps that vamp, but wouldn't fairly represent my Lords. The second being that my special order didn't go through so I'm a little lite on what I wanted to use for the campaign and have a not so great list based off of what I actually own now. I haven't had to have a battle yet and am hoping I can get my stuff by Friday when I absolutely have to give my friend my list, otherwise its using the what I got list or running out, buying and assembling the stuff I need for my preferred list.
My biggest problem right now is my severe lack of inexperience against majority of the armies being played, 2 WoC, 1 Bret, 1 Ogres, 1 Empire, 2 Orks & Goblins, 1 Skaven, 1 Lizardmen and 2 Dwarves. I've only played against DE and Brets, and the most dangerous player in the campaign plays Orcs & Goblins which I know little to nothing about. I've already begun an alliance with one of the Dwarf players as my list is a bit caster heavy and we can scratch each others back fairly well where magic is concerned. The only battle to take place was the Lizardmen vs. Empire with the Empire player scoring the massacre victory and the Lizard player hanging on for dear life already, both are on my side of the map. The "dangerous" Orcs & Goblins player is also on my side of the board with his capital firmly lodged in the mountains. I believe the Bret player is also on my side of the map. I know the Empire player is warmachine heavy which I think won't be to much of a problem with the exception of the steamtank. The Lizardmen player has two Stegadons, a Slann and a Priest with only a few units so I'm thinking that out deploying him will be my key to victory.
So what I'm pretty much asking here is for some tips for campaign play and any useful things I should be concerned about regarding my competition. Like I said, DE and Brets are the only armies I've played against and I am unfamiliar with the tactics against and for the opposing armies.
