Update time! No clowns this time as they seem to be freaking so many of you out! (sorry, but not really sorry!) Close enough to finishing my lord on abyssal terror now, just the gore and a few details to add. As the center piece of my army I am really happy how he has turned out.

Thanks Melle, that man ape would fit perfectly in my ghoul horde of circus freaks.
I hope size wise he is around 28mm, but slightly bigger scale wouldn't matter

also teddy is about the size of a ogre actually slightly smaller. Way taller then a handgunner. It's part of the wife's wyrd stuff. The evil carebear. hmm

@ Santawraith: The "army" is pretty uncompetative at the moment, only played one skirmish game so far against my cousins high elves with a few proxies and obviously got pasted.
Still working on that circus freak ghoul unit at the moment, I need some decent core and some competative units now!

Loving the ghouls and I wanted to point this out we have a ghoul challenge in the dying to help section. think yours would do wonderful in it.

Also there is one for abyssal terrors too hehe you know you want to enter your's.

loving them they make such awesome circus freak's.

In other news I have started work on the black coach... but it's currently on blocks because i'm down a wheel set. if anyone has spare corpse cart wheels PLEASE get in touch for trade or sell!

In addition I am also after a good "straw" modelling substrate if anyone has a good supplier, please share the info!

Yes the challenge is about converting and coming up with alternatives as well as having fun. I personally am entering a kit bash myself. So no worries buddy.

Woodland scenic field grass would work well as straw but it's basing material. There is one that is a honey gold color.

Not sure yet, either another Dire lion, a big bear or man ape from west wind. If I can't decide I may run some bars down the middle and seperate the cage into two so I can have both.
I've built a little barred door for the back, but I plan to have it half smashed off/ on it's last hinges. I might also bend some of the bars as currently it's a little too "clean" and not undead enough.

Plenty of bones and dead stuff to go inside to furnish it, and I think I have a straw supplier now for the floor.

Main question is who the driver is going to be?????

Not really an update, more of a thank you and a question.

First off, thanks to Chaos_Born for sending me a set of corpse cart wheels to aid my black coach conversion. Such a big help, and great to find it on this forum!

Lastily, it was suggested to me that this model would make a good Vargheist in the army, what do you guys think? Anyone own him, is he about the right size?

Fits the theme brilliantly IMO, but can't help on the size front I'm afraid

I do not own him but thats a 50mm base he is on and it looks large on him so I think he would fit a 40mm just fine or at least same as the varghiests.

He looks great and I think would fit well the theme.

Thanks for the info on the base sizes, found a u.k stockest who has 3 so thats a good start. I think I can convert them enough to all look slightly different.

New challenge then: I am desperte to get this item as a unit filler for my zombie clowns. I cannot find it anywhere, it is from an american compnay called black orc games from a range called freak show but they don't ship u.k. / respond to e-mail.
Any help???? (You can tell why I want it!)

Looking awesome so far. I love the amount of conversion work in this army; it has a ton of character in it. I'll see if I have any old corpse cart stuff lying around. You could try using metallic pigments on the bars and stuff to really give the bars a metallic worn look to them.
