Your theme really just makes the army, it may not be the best but it ties in so well overall it easily outstrips other forces which have been painted to the very highest standard.
Keep up the work mate, this army is a great example in this army of a labour of love.

Latest update:

Had to rush the mortis engine for a tourne last weekend. First tourne that I took the Circus too and got lots of great feedback on the theme plus the list was "soft" because of the zombies and a few other things

Mortis needs a bit more work still, the picture needs painting and the red and the blue needs breaking up. I am planning to add some of the new spirit hosts coming out of the organ for final touches but surprised that it came together this solid in the end

As Duke said, the army may not be best painted compared to other more pro painters, but the theme carries it through. So much so that it still won best painted army and I picked up a free Nagash model for my prize and efforts!!! I will not be converting Nagash up before anyone asks, if I wanted a clown Nagash, the old model is likely where to start

Okay, I really like the modelling and conversion work, but there are so many none-GW models in this army I can hardly call it a Vampire Counts army! :lol:

Also I think you could work on your painting a little bit.

Now added some of the new spirit hosts to the mortis engine. I like the idea that they are coming out of the organ pipes to add a bit more VC to the feel

Also started work on the second terrogheist base now too. I purchased this nice little resin tent off of the internet which makes for a great start to the basing.

The second terrorghiest is now finished, so I thought I would put an update. One pic of the whole army and a close up on the basing of the TG. Coming close to finishing the army now, just 3 more bears, 5 more lions, 20 GG and a screaming skull catapult to finish plus some of the banner art...... but all the pieces have been collected and just a matter of painting them up

Since you already have one ogre for the cart, I would suggest a couple more as zombie fillers. Zombie ogre clowns are just really, really scary...

@Archean Extremely cool and impressive theme. I love all of your work, especially your zombies (the Michael Jackson one is rocking it!).

Somehow I think you can use the old Nagash unconverted for something and he'd fit very well into this army :lol:

Another thought (not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet) but seeing a ghost train would be really cool. I guess it could count as a corpse cart or something. Jester skeleton warriors could look awesome too!
