I buy my Zombies exclusively from Mantic. I just kit-bash the Mantic Zombies and Ghouls and they looks so good!. Will be getting more soon :-)

This is a great idea. I've bought 40 Armored Skellies from them to use as grave guard and 30 zombies. But, their zombies are dope, so I'll be buying more.

I am so glad to hear the positive feed back for Mantic. I was planning on using GW zombies for my front rank then taking a chance on Mantic to fill out the rest of the horde. I think I will buy the mantic first and give them a shot.

Shame on me for thinking cheaper (really cheap), automatically means lesser quality
Great thread

I've got GW minis for my "presige units" of Black knights and grave guard (genuinely like thje GW minis for these, but planning on using Mantic minis for the rank and file.

Currently, I have 90 skellies from them (really good) and will soon be buying some mantic ghouls and zombies (both of which are, IMO, far superior to the GW equivalents).

I also bought three of the Wights to use as Seneschals / Wight Kings - and while they are a bit too pretty for seneschals (they are very clean and 'modern' looking in comparison to the GW GG), they are perfect for Wight Kings.

I just hope Mantic can bring out some Crypt Horror / Vargheist / Spirit Host equivalent models.

60 mantic zombies so far which I combined with GW ghoul and dryad bits to make my ghoul/zombie horde. Plan to buy plenty more mantic undead down the track when I finish my current backlog of yet to be painted minis. May get some of their werewolves when they're out too if I like the look of them.

Most my army is like 80% mantic and will go up cause I plan on more undead troops and their werewolves. I wish we could use the catapults as well though

The only Mantic model I've bought so far is the Necromancer (because I much prefer it to any of GW's ones).

It's a nice model, even if the delivery time is best measured on a geological time-scale.

I've just discovered this website thanks to this threand and OMG. I cant believe it. Everything is so cool and so cheap! I see all the prices are in pounds, so I guess its british. Do you know if they ship to the rest of europe? (Specifically to Spain)

They ship their stuff worldwide. But it should be easier and cheaper to find them locally - there should be hobbystores and similiar places with miniatures and board games in your area where you can find mantic minis easily. Otherwise, they ship their stuff.

EDIT: oh, and while I'm writing I can mention that I bought 20 ghouls from them and supplemented my GW ghouls. They fit together quite well. It's not much, but always something.

I have several hundred zombies, ghouls and skeletons from mantic, Calvary , mummies, etc I think I am around a 1000 total mantic models in my endless horde of undead xD (PS i can vouche for all mantic models in the undead range lol)

30 Zombies, so cheap and so much more beautiful than the GW models (Can you call rotting corpses beautiful?). Planning to buy around 100 more and then building and painting them all as one batch.

I like the armored skeletons.. you could do your own heraldry on the blank shields,I'm going to use them as grave guard also.

hmmm may buy some zombies from them someday...they look pretty decent
though their skeletons look horribad

Heck, most of my VC army: my Wight BTL STD, 150 Zombies, 2 units of 20 Ghouls, 4 units of Skellies, 2 units of reven.... ahem, I mean grave guard, unit of Wraiths, All form Mantic. Bat swarm comes from Avatars of war single bats, Ghosts come from LOTR deadmen on 40mm bases.

Rest of my Characters, fell bats, black coach and my Zombie dragon are from G.W.

Doing a VC army, Mantic is the way to go!

I used to use mantic, but went back to GW. The problem with Mantic is that they look really bad ranked up, the ghouls have BARELY more than 1 pose. The zombies are okay if only because the GW ones are outdated, but regiments look much better once you move up to the current GW releases.

Got two Crazy Boxes, one from 2012 and one from 2013, which were pretty well-stocked with undead.

Bought some ghouls and zombies earlier, and just got some wraiths and mounted skellies today. Think I have 50 counts-as GG, 30-40 zombies or ghouls (they sprues are wonderful to mix to add more diversity!), along with the 10 new wraiths and 10 counts-as black knights.

I don't think I've ever really been dissatisfied with a Mantic mini xD

I have noticed that all of the local online sellers seem to be out of Mantic zombies and skeletons, and have been for some time.

Anybody know if they are re-booting them or something tat everyone would be seemingly out at the same time?

I realize I could also order directly from Mantic, but aside from a slightly higher price, I fear their site has them listed but might be low/out of stock, and I will be waiting several weeks or months.

Any us online sellers I could be directed towards that have them?

Thanks

I guess I was not looking hard enough, once I started to systematically go through the online sellers I knew of, I was able to find some. Lots of low stock warnings though.

110 models * 49£ with Excellent quality ,nice details and smartly sculpted, the models looks alive.
That happened 2 weeks ago, next week I'm going with necro +other 40 zeds. Too bad they took off the 60 zombie box otherwise would come with this month order..
I'm definitely a client and I'll be for all my army as long is possible.too bad they have no dragon or better chavarly....

Just purchased:

40 x Skeletons
40 x Zombies
40 x Ghouls

direct from Mantic. Came to just 85 euro!

I just can't justify spending 100 euro + on just 60 zombies from GW :/

My 30 box of Mantic Zombos yielded 40 without too much trouble. Very cool for the price they charge, and I've got a ton of bits left over. Very happy with the purchase.
