Tell me about that albino assembly line? The steps?
Models are built, based, undercoated with black.
I have been painting 8 miniatures at a time by the time you get to the 8th the first is usually dry.
Bare in mind I am still using old paints (for the most part).
Basecoat Stage:
1. Paint all flesh areas with Scorched brown.
2. Paint all Fur with Dheneb Stone.
3. paint all cloth with Astronomican Grey.
4. drybrush all flesh areas with Tallarn Flesh.
5. Paint all armour plates with Mechrite Red.
6. Paint all blades and maille with Chainmail.
7. Paint all bags and packs with Gorthor Brown (New colour).
8. Paint all badges and icons with Tin Bits.
Wash Stage:
Fur: Gryphonne Sepia
Plate & maille armour and blades: Badab Black
Cloth: Mix of 1-1 Devlan Mud and Water.
Bags and Pouches: Devlan Mud
Highlight Stage 1:
1. Highlight all Fur with Dheneb Stone.
2. Hightlight all cloth with Astronomican Grey.
3. Highlight all armour plates with Mechrite Red.
Highlight Stage 2:
1. Highlight all Fur with 1-1 Dheneb Stone & Skull White.
2. Hightlight all cloth with 1-1 Astronomican Grey & Skull White.
3. Highlight all blades with Chainmail
4. Highlight all badges and icons with Dwarf Bronze
Finishing touches.
Belts and leathers (the straps used to attach armour) are painted Chaos Black and the wood of the Halberds is painted Rhinox Hide (New Colour).
And finally... Dot the eyeballs with Blood Red.
Go through that whole process 5 times and you have 40 Albino Coucil Guard ready to push a screaming bell into battle.
