He is very powerful,but also very expensive,alot of tournies don't allow special characters but there's mo reason you can't run him as a regular build in that case.If you like the model...get him.

Well here, they allow special characters so I'n UR opinion how or what army would u build around him

Mannfred's good, but the primary problems with him are follows
+2 arcane items + 1 mount = expensive
You are now extremely reliant on a good dice roll
Your 2 Lores are picked for you
I like to couple him with Isabella and the item that makes you sacrifice wounds for magic dice

This dude really shines in a 3000 pt game. Give him both arcane items which add +1 to casting and all of his casting and dispel rolls will be at +6. He will be getting off most spells on two dice, even the harder ones. His main problem is too many options. With 14 spells to choose from each turn you can get side tracked or distracted easily. I have found the best use for this guy is to do what he does best: spend the time casting Summon Undead Horde and IoN, creating 50+ zombies a turn. Overwhem the enemy in a sea of corpses.
He sure is good for his points, but I´d go with a normal caster lord because he´s cheaper. In bigger games, say 3000pts, I can deffinetly see him beeing worth the points.
Well we play with characters here and we run 2000-2500 games normally so I think I will field him along with some blood knights,and konrad

Also, you should get zombies, he raises them very easily and in great numbers (and of course zombies are awesome!)
