Kso I just recently started this army, I was out of the hobby for actually a couple years and decided to get back into it. I have a bunch of pics so far, but just to throw this out the ahead of time, due to the background I've made up for them, you guys may or may not have issues with what models I have decided to use (specifically probably GG lol...u'll see) But don't worry, I didn't just throw together random models for the hell of it. Anyways I guess I'll show you guys what I have so far. Let me know what you think please!

Next up are some of my ladies. Long story short, I wanted to make as many units as I could entirely out of women (as I said, due to bg story lol) So here is my Kemmler*, my Grave Guard*, and Krell*.

Here are some Hexwraiths and Banshees (wraiths are in the mail, as well as skellies and wight kings, all from mantic, you'll see. but back on topic) Both made from Coven throne bits. Waiting on bases for some of the horsey fellas.

Now my blood knight wip. Made from chaos knights, I'm still waiting for some parts in the mail, shoulder pads and shields from scibor. Can't start painting til then but they are. Also, I know alot of people suggest removing all the spikes and shit but I kinda like it. I just have to make sure my paint job sets them apart from chaos.

@santa : I really liked the idea of the Lahmian themed army, but I hated the egyptian feel to them, so I decided to do an all-female (or as all female as I could) army. Without going into huge detail about the bg story, my 5 lords were all slaves of Neferata, and decided to escape, taking the (hafta look into my notes for the actual name it escapes me right now lol) thingy that makes them vampires. They plan to use the vampiric power to put an end to the slavery and cruelty of all other vampires, and as they go they recruit more useful females, giving them the dark gift blah blah. Anyways, the name white wolf, my leader chick, is a dark elf named ly'dae (means white wolf in D.E), thus, Queen Ly'Dae and the Coven of the White Wolf. Plus, on a side note, I have done a variation of the Winterfell wolf as the army logo, so it fits alright lol.
ALSO, almost missed the question, crypt horrors are from Titan Forge, although after painting them up, I cant seem to get my head out of the zombie ogre idea, i just love them lol
@vectra, they are slightly off but barely noticeable. i will get pics up after work and compare to most my minis to show you, but it really depends on what unit you have them in, if at all. standing alone they look the same size.

They take a tiny bit of work. Not nearly as much as I thought originally, but two of them actually come as one piece. If anyone plans on trying it I recommend having at least 1 skeletal horse for each set of spirit horse bitz u buy, because you will need tails and legs for the horses that you butcher lol.

I agree. I just got my shoulder pads and shields from scibor, and i was so looking forward to them, and it turns out theyre too big. They definitely wouldve looked great on the knights, I'm still trying to find a way to use them though.... there are still some things I need to remove or sculpt over on them, yes. I was also thinking to maybe put something onto their helms so they arent just plain round.... oh, just got it. Maybe I'll try some plumes from the helmets of my mantic skellies i just got

so quick update: i received 60 mantic skellies, a box of 10 revenants (which ill be using 8 as wraiths, and 2 as wight kings, one with bsb).

ok so i have a few things to show now. I decided i could make the scibor stuff work for the knights, and it actually turned out pretty nice. The trick was positioning the shields right, and only putting a shoulder pad on one side, when i originally planned for both sides. Aaaanyways, so what i have here is my unit of 30 skellies with hand weapons, 30 skellies with spears all assembled, my knights with new gear, primed, and paint started on the horsies (I'm thinking about putting roses on them, it will make more sense if i do it and show it, problem is, not great at sculpting and i cant find cast ones for sale anywhere. anyone know something i dont?) and also showing wraiths primed, and wip wight king bsb. enough talk lol.

ya they were obviously meant for 40k, they look about space marine size i think terminator woulda been pushing it on these boys lol. i started a test for my painjob, but am still waiting on one more set of parts to add to them. updated pics soon.
on a side note, i got totally merc'd by my cousins WoC last night at 2000pts. i swear he must be cheating lol it was a bloodbath....

I really like the ethereal purple on the hexwraiths and banshees, how exactly did you do it?

its super easy cuz I'm not the best painter: I basecoated the whole thing black, then did the top 2/3 of the model with mechanicus grey, then drybrushed the bottom black area with grey, then did the top 1/3 with white, drybrushed the grey and black with the white, then did a wash of druchii violet, then drybrushed the whole thing with skull white again. I've been behind on my vamps cuz I'm starting a daemon army after getting my ass kicked by my cousins WoC, but I plan on doing the armour and metal parts like actual metal, everything else will stay ethereal.
btw, I suppose I would have to make a new thread to show wip for my daemons, yes?
