I just got done with a gigantic siege game (!!!) over the weekend, and I was hoping to clarify the rules regarding crumble across multiple units in the same combat.
My opponent had a horde unit of high elf swordmasters, and I had charged in a unit of zombies and a unit of skeletons. As far as I understand that is considered one combat across those three units. Therefore when he won combat (which he predictably did, by 16), my units crumble by 16. However the book seems to imply that BOTH my units take 16 additional wounds. Seems odd to me though, since each unit only lost by half that amount. It seems more reasonable to me to distribute those wounds across both units, but I'm willing to bet that's not the case. If it really is 16 for both units then Holy Hell I am not charging two core units into the same combat again.
