If you have a non-Vampire Counts ally, can the Lore Attribute Curse of Undeath be used to heal one of your ally's models?

The attribute says that "the Wizard (or another friendly model within 12") recovers a single wound".

I see nothing in the FAQ that says that this lore attribute cannot benefit allies.

Please note: This question is about the Lore Attribute - Curse of Undeath. The Invocation of Nehek spell can only be used on Undead, this is quite clear, so please avoid any references to this spell.

I see no problem with it being used to heal allies.

Now, if you're ally is another VC army, then ION should heal errrrbody :)

1) You can heal any model within the 12 inches, so yes. It doesn't say undead.

Don't forget Tomb Kings too eggspr.

Means no attribute on the aforementioned TK since they're considered neutral.

Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts are Suspicious Allies. So they still treat each other as friendly units for the purpose of spells

Awesome. Good to know.

I never use the alliance rules, so I don't exactly know how all those shenanigans work.
